The Warrior is getting to be formed:
Az elektronika, híd és a kulcsok helyét kimartuk, majd grafittal
kifújtuk. Sokan öntapadós alufóliával árnyékolják, én a takarólemezek
kivételével ezt preferálom. A testet felcsiszoltuk, a nyaknak végső
profilt adtunk, letisztáztuk. Pácolás. A testet kimaszkoltuk,
portalanítottuk, majd egy darab rongy segítségével elkezdtük felhordani a
pácot. Én ehhez egy erősen pigmentált vörös / bordó pácot használtam. A
maszkolás alatt a fán átszivárog a színezék, így a végén fekete csíkkal
lesz elválasztva a natúr rész a festettől. 2 nap állás után
felcsiszolás, ami után kicsit drasztikusan néz ki, de a
végeredmény érdekében ezt meg kell tenni, kétszer is. Csiszolásnál
itt-ott sötétebb foltot hagytunk a 'relic' stílusú kinézethez. Ismét
olajozás, maszkolás, majd pácolás. Lakkozás előtt ezt a műveletsort még
egyszer végig csináljuk.
The places of the electronics, bridge and the keys were developed and sprayed with graphite. Some uses self-adhesive aluminium foil to shade, I myself prefer this method with the exception of the cover plates. The body has been polished, the neck has got its final profile. Staining. The body was masked, undusted and
with a piece of rag we started the staining process. For this we used a
deeply pigmented (wine-)red stain. The colourant is leaking under the
mask so in the end the plain and the painted part will be divided with a
black stripe. There came a two-day-break and polishing again. After
this it looks like a bit drastic, but it is a necessary step for the
perfect result. It has to be done for two times. While polishing we have
made one or two darker patches in order to get it have a relic style. Then oiling, masking and staining again. We will do these steps once more before varnishing.
